MANILA, Philippines: No storm is expected to enter the country until the end of March, the state-run weather agency said on Wednesday.

Only the easterlies and localized thunderstorms are expected to prevail in most parts of the country at least until Easter Sunday, weather specialist Robert Badrina of the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.

He cited the agency's data and analysis that showed no tropical cyclone or low pressure area would possibly enter in the country until the end of the month'We advise the public, especially those who go out of their homes to bring anything for cover like umbrellas and make sure to drink plenty of water as we expect hotter temperatures especially at noontime and mid-afternoon,' Badrina said.
