“Tuloy-tuloy naman 'yun. May one week pa sila before we finally bring them home so based naman 'yan sa timeline na binigay natin sa mission nila na two weeks, not more than three weeks,” Alejandro said.

The Office of Civil Defense on Thursday said that so far there is no need to extend the stay of the Philippine rescue team in quake-hit Turkey.

OCD spokesperson Assistant Secretary Bernardo Rafaelito Alejandro IV told reporters that for now they will stick to their plan of deploying the Philippine rescue team in Turkey for around two weeks only. “Tuloy-tuloy naman 'yun. May one week pa sila before we finally bring them home so based naman 'yan sa timeline na binigay natin sa mission nila na two weeks, not more than three weeks,” he said.

“So far, wala naman...we don't see any need for them to extend,” he said when asked if there is no need to extend.Asked about the possible transfer of the Philippine rescue team from Adiyaman Province to Hatay province to find the Filipinos reported missing, Alejandro said the operations depend on the discretion of local authorities.
