TACLOBAN City – The Department of Health 8 announced that Eastern Visayas no longer had any admitted patient under investigation from February 14 up to the present, and has remained free from corononavirus disease 2019 or COVID-19.
DOH 8 regional director Minerva Molon said a total of 16 PUIs were recorded in the region, and all of them have already been cleared and discharged.“Always do the precautionary measures avoiding such virus by doing hand hygiene, practicing cough etiquette, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, cooking food thoroughly, having sufficient rest and avoiding crowded places,” she said.
She added that DOH-Eastern Visayas will work with concerned agencies and local government units, and “will do all the needed effort to remain being a healthy Region 8.”
