The National Irrigation Administration has conducted an immediate investigation into the reported damage of one of Bustos Dam’s rubber bladders.Bustos Dam, also known as the Angat Afterbay Regulator Dam , is located in Bulacan.
During the meeting, it was discussed that the rubber materials have passed the testing conducted by China’s Beijing Research and Development Institute on April 24-26, 2017, as requested by the contractor, ITP Construction, Inc.-Guangxi Hydroelectric Construction Bureau Co., Ltd. Consortium. NIA also instructed the contractor to coordinate with the regional office to determine the best remedial measure to address the problem.
