THE National Grid Corp. of the Philippines (NGCP) said power transmission services 'remain normal' after a 6.2 magnitude earthquake struck on Thursday.

'The grid remains intact as there are no reported cases of power interruptions and damaged transmission facilities in areas where the earthquake was felt,' the electric service provider wrote in an advisory that was also shared

by the official page of the Quezon Provincial Government.The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology reported a 6.2-magnitude earthquake near Calatagan in Batangas.No damage or injuries were reported as of posting time.
