The newly-installed chief of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) vowed to punish cops involved in illegal activities during his stint.

Outgoing QCPD director Joselito Esquivel Jr. passed on the QCPD flag to NCRPO chief Guillermo Eleazar during the turn-over ceremony for incoming district director Ronnie Montejo at the QCPD Headquarters in Camp Karingal.

Montejo also encouraged his men to perform their duties well and carry their “100 percent best to serve the public without fear or favor.” “As your new district director, I will make sure that your good deeds will be rewarded, while those who will break the chain and violates the law will be punished,” he stated.

Montejo, who was the former Deputy District Director for Administration of the Northern Police District , formally assumed QCPD’s top post during a turn-over ceremony presided by NCRPO chief Major General Guillermo Eleazar.
