THE Bagong Ospital ng Maynila will be inaugurated on Friday, June 24, to mark the city's 450th Founding Anniversary.Manila Mayor Francisco 'Isko Moreno' Domagoso said the construction of the modern hospital is 99 percent complete and all the major equipment and machines are in place.'The 10-storey, fully air-conditioned New Hospital of Manila is nearing completion. It also has a helipad in preparation for the future when we will buy a medEvac.
What a private hospital can provide, so should a public hospital,' Domagoso said.'The people deserve better. It is their money so it should be returned to them through good and quality service,' he added.The state-of-the-art Bagong Ospital ng Maynila has a 384-bed capacity, 12 intensive care units and 20 private rooms, as well as other amenities such as the three-story parking building and a helipad, among others. Its emergency room has 30 beds.
