New LPA spotted off Mindanao as InengPH nears exit

MANILA—State weather bureau PAGASA is monitoring a new low-pressure area off Mindanao as severe tropical storm Ineng is expected to exit the Philippine area of responsibility Saturday.

Tropical cyclone wind signal number 2, which could experience 60 to 120 kph winds within 24 hours, remains hoisted over Batanes and Babuyan Group of Islands.
