Seven cholera cases were reported in Negros Occidental as of Sept. 29, Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson confirmed in a media interview on Thursday.

BACOLOD CITY –

One case each was also reported in Victorias City and E.B. Magalona town. All three localities belong to the third district of the province. She was diagnosed with acute gastroenteritis with severe dehydration-cholera, and was admitted at TLJPH on Sept. 23. She was later discharged and is now in stable condition.“We advised the residents to make sure their food and water are clean, and when in doubt, to boil their drinking water, or subject them to chlorination,” the mayor added.
