Nearly 40 Pinoys have died of COVID19 in Dubai: diplomat

MANILA- Some 40 Filipinos in Dubai have died due to the new coronavirus disease , Philippine Consul General Paul Raymond Cortes said Friday.

"Halos 40 na rin po na mga kababayan natin ang sadly na nasawi dahil sa COVID-19," Cortes said in a virtual press briefing.As of Thursday, the Department of Foreign Affairs said 2,841 Filipinos abroad have tested positive for COVID-19. This includes 334 deaths and 934 recoveries.
