A TOTAL of 9,784 children aged five to 11 were inoculated during the first day of pediatric vaccination for the said age bracket, the Department of Health said Tuesday, February 8, 2022.

Vergeire said only one child experienced adverse effects following inoculation, adding that the child had mild rashes, which also disappeared within the day.She said such a reaction is expected, assuring that vaccination sites are well-equipped to respond to such a situation. The National Government is targeting to inoculate around 15.56 million individuals belonging to the said age group.
