According to the NCRPO, the 4,690 police officers will be sent to the streets and other key areas in Metro Manila as it expects an influx of vacationers amid the Lenten season and upcoming summer break.

NCRPO chief Police Maj. Gen. Edgar Alan Okubo explained that police officers will conduct “anti-criminality operations; target hardening measures; traffic management or direction and other related police public safety services” in areas such as transportation terminals, places of worship, malls, markets, commercial areas, and parks.
