The National Bureau of Investigation has conducted an autopsy on the remains of slain overseas Filipino worker Jullebee Ranara, whose burned body was found in a desert following alleged abuse by her employer's son in Kuwait.

NBI experts examined Ranara's external and internal injuries to determine the circumstances that led to her death. "It was a very tearful reunion. The family opted not to physically see the state of Jullebee upon arrival. Their request was for private time, and this was granted," Migrant Workers Secretary Susan Ople said.
