Among the barangays with active cases, NBBS Kaunlaran has the highest number recorded with 15 cases.

Navotas City Mayor Toby Tiangco urged his constituents to get vaccinated after the city’s total COVID-19 active case rose to 68 on Wednesday, Dec. 29,

In a Facebook post, Tiangco said the city government recorded a total of 44 postive cases as of Dec. 29 which is much higher than the three active cases recorded on Dec.18.There are also 11 cases in Brgy. NBBS Proper, five each in barangays Tangos South and NBBN, three each in Navotas West, San Roque, and Sipac-Almacen, eight in Brgy. Tangos North, six in Brgy.

Tiangco reminded the residents to wear face masks even if they are already vaccinated and to observe health and safety protocols. “Ayaw nating bumalik sa dating paghihirap dahil sa pagdami ng mga nagkakasakit kaya ako po ay nakikiusap sa inyong pakikiisa at kooperasyon ,” Tiangco said. “Protektahan natin ang ating kalusugan pati na ng mga mahal natin sa buhay para malusog at masagana ang pagsalubong natin sa bagong taon ,” he added.

The city has listed 17, 092 recoveries, or 96.5 percent of its 17,707 total COVID-19 cases, as of December 29.
