The city government of Navotas has announced the temporary closure of the Navotas Social Services One-Stop Shop from Jan. 6 to 7 at the Navotas City Hall compound for the disinfection of its facilities.

The announcement was made on Thursday, Jan. 6, through the city’s Public Information Office Facebook page.Disinfection is done regularly in the facility, but more so now due to the surge in COVID-19 cases brought about by the Omicron variant. The Navotas PIO advised residents who need guarantee letters to submit a certificate of indigency from their respective barangays, a copy of the medical certificate or clinical abstract, and a copy of the medical prescription, laboratory test, or hospital bill.NavoServe was established by Mayor Tobias Marcelo Tiangco in Feb.

The facility was made to serve mostly poor residents and sectors of the community who need to avail of the city government’s social services in a more convenient manner. Financial assistance initiatives such as the social amelioration program , the Calamity Financial Assistance, and financial aid programs to solo parents and persons with disabilities are processed and distributed at NavoServe.
