Mayor Jaime Fresnedi, Dr. Alfonso Villaroman and other officials at the signing of the agreement for the drug rehabilitation program.
Under the agreement, the city government will pay for the total cost of P33,470 for the treatment of each drug dependent. Fresnedi hopes the subsidy from the city government will encourage indigent drug dependents in Muntinlupa to seek medical help. Under its Mamamayan at Pamilya Laban sa Droga aftercare and reintegration program, there will be livelihood trainings, job placement, and continuing education in partnership with the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa and the Muntinlupa City Technical Institute.
