The Muntinlupa City government has started vaccinating the A5 priority group, or those belonging to the poor population.

According to the City Health Office , the vaccination rollout for members of the A5 group such as those belonging to the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program started on June 17.

The mayor based the guidelines on Department of Health Memorandum 2021-0259, which set the rules on the inoculation of A4 and A5 priority groups. The department is mandated to work closely with barangays for the proper documentation of the A5 group and issue the certificate of indigency and personal IDs. It will also assist the vaccination site manager in the scheduling of groups of individuals falling under category A5 to avoid overcrowding and ensure smooth and fast rollout of the vaccines.

As of June 15, the Muntinlupa City government has administered 115,846 doses of the coronavirus disease vaccine.
