As of April 2, the City Health Office reported that Muntinlupa has 39,907 confirmed cases, 39,290 recoveries and 614 deaths to bring the total active cases to only three.CHO’s data also showed one new case and two recoveries were added on April 2 in Barangay Alabang with zero new deaths. The remaining eight barangays tallied zero new Covid-19 cases.
In December, the Muntinlupa City government recorded its lowest daily active cases of five on Dec. 20. But Mayor Jaime Fresnedi said residents should not lower their guard and urged them to continue following minimum public health standards such as wearing of face masks and washing of hands. He also encouraged them to get vaccinated and receive their booster shots.
