The Kapitbisig sa Pag-unlad Multipurpose Cooperative from Pandi town in Bulacan received the major award for excellence at the Gawad Galing Kooperatiba 2022 spearheaded by the Bulacan Provincial Cooperative and Enterprise Development Office at The Pavilion, Hiyas ng Bulacan Convention Center City of Malolos on Monday, Nov.14.
She said the Kapitbisig sa Pag-unlad MPC has complied with the standards of an excellent cooperative, earning the highest recognition award with a cash prize worth P65,000 and a trophy. Special awards were also given to other best-performing cooperatives which received P15,000 cash prize and a trophy each. They were the Rabbit Raisers and Meat Producers Cooperative under the Micro Scale Category; PAGUNOVA Transport and Multi-purpose Service Cooperative; Catholic Servants of Christ Community Multipurpose Cooperative and Marilao Municipal Employees Multi-Purpose Cooperative for Medium Scale Category; and Sta.
Vice Governor Alexis C. Castro and Board Member Allen Dale Baluyut, chairperson of the Committee on Cooperatives, also graced the program to deliver their messages, along with the members of the Provincial Cooperative Development Council.
