Metro Pacific Investments Foundation Inc. , the corporate social responsibility arm of leading infrastructure conglomerate Metro Pacific Investments Corporation , pledged its support to the Pinatubo Eco-Adventure and Cultural Enclave Katutubong Anak ng Mount Pinatubo through its Puhunang Pangkabuhayan program for alternative livelihood.Philippine Cycling Festival, Neo Zigma Cycle Corporation and Interval Gear Events Management , MPIF received 60 commuter bikes in a turnover event last June 5.
Sharing a mutual objective to alleviate the hurdles faced by vulnerable and marginalized sectors, MPIF and PEACE KAMP intends to collaborate on alternative livelihood opportunities that will create long-term benefits for the community. “Our love for cycling goes beyond seeing it as a sport, as it has become an opportunity to help our countrymen pedal forward and power through,” says IGEM Managing Director Christian Alacar.
