BACOLOD CITY — A young man died after his motorcycle collided with a sports utility vehicle at Hacienda Nueva, Barangay To-oy, Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental on Tuesday, Nov. 22.

Mark John Dato, traffic investigator of Himamaylan City Police Station, said that an SUV driven by a 62-year-old woman reportedly overtook two trucks, and collided with Garzon’s motorcycle.
Dato said the victim was not wearing a helmet. He was declared dead on arrival at a hospital due to severe chest pain and head injury.The two parties have reached a settlement, according to the traffic investigator.
