ICYMI: A famous Canada-based content creator has said that Regine Velasquez may yet have her “rightful successor” in young hitmaker Morissette Amon.

On the other hand, Ovela did not hold back his praises for Amon’s voice as he reacted to a video of her singing the track “Di Mapaliwanag.” He then noted that her “insane high belting,” “amazing head voice,” and “extreme whistle runs” makes her the “successor” to Velasquez.

“I can say that [Amon] is the rightful successor to the throne that we all know that Regine has. Because on top of the whistling, she can do everything that Regine has. Everything else with such precision and excellence,” he further added, before noting that the compilation video was “made by a fan of Morissette.”
