The humanitarian assistance extended to the typhoon victims has increased to more than P38.7 million, the Department of Social Welfare and Development said Wednesday, Dec. 22.

The humanitarian assistance extended to the typhoon victims has increased to more than P38.7 million, the Department of Social Welfare and Development said Wednesday, Dec. 22.

The report noted an increase in the number of affected families and those staying in evacuation centers.The DSWD logged 102,636 evacuee-families or 410,246 individuals. They were staying in 1,915 evacuation centers. The DSWD identified 10 affected regions. These are Mimaropa , Bicol, Western Visayas, Central Visayas, Eastern Visayas, Northern Mindanao, Davao, Soccsksargen , and Caraga.
