Authorities confiscated more than P1 million worth of suspected shabu from a father and son during a buy-bust operation in Quezon City on Monday.

When target Dean Dexter Bato handed the package of suspected shabu to the police asset, personnel of Quezon City Police District Station 10 arrested him and his father Dexter Bato, according to a report by James Agustin on Unang Balita on Tuesday. The alleged shabu confiscated weighed 150 grams.

QCPD said the father and son were named by suspects previously arrested as their sources of illegal drugs.

The elder suspect said he had no comment, while his son just shook his head when asked if the confiscated drugs were theirs. The suspects will face charges of violation of Republic Act No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
