Sen. Richard Gordon, Blue Ribbon chairman, called out the officials of Pharmally Pharmaceutical Corp. for skipping the panel’s 18th hearing into the alleged anomalous government purchases of COVID-19 supplies in 2020. | onenewsph

The Senate Blue Ribbon committee cited in contempt on Thursday, Jan. 27, more officials of Pharmally Pharmaceutical Corp. for their continuous failure to attend the investigation into the government’s procurement of face masks, face shields and other COVID-19 equipment.

“We do not love people to punish them. They are laughed at because they refuse to accept the invitation to appear on a vital matter that should solve the problems or work on to help solve the problems in our country, particularly during this pandemic,” he added. He said the doctor who issued the medical certificate to Lin should be required to attend the next hearing.
