MANILA, Philippines: Another batch of Filipino workers from Israel arrived on Tuesday at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).

The sixth batch is composed of 42 Filipino workers and an infant.This brings to 187 the number of repatriates who have come home since October 18.Meanwhile, the Department of Foreign Affairs said 46 Filipinos in Gaza have been given the go signal to cross the Rafah border and are expected to reach Cairo, Egypt on Tuesday evening .The Filipinos were divided in two batches of 20 and 26. The first batch was supposed to leave on Sunday but was moved to another date, the DFA said.

'It's not just a batch of 20 but the second batch, as well which were approved for crossing today,' he said.'Remember we are six hours advanced. What our embassies in Amman and Cairo are certain of is tonight local time they will be able to cross into Egypt,' de Vega said.Once in Cairo, they will be given days to rest. 'They will be home within the week,' the DFA official said.
