The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority released on Saturday, June 25, road closures and traffic rerouting that will be implemented starting 12:01 a.m. Sunday, June 26, as part of the security measures for the inauguration of President-elect Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr.

More or less 1,200 guests, including incoming Cabinet members, diplomats, legislators, members of the Judiciary, international and local media, and other guests are expected to attend the inauguration to be held at the National Museum grounds before noon. Here are the important details that motorists and commuters need to know about road closures and traffic rerouting from June 26 to June 30:· Padre Burgos Avenue· General Luna Street – from P. Burgos to Muralla Street· Victoria Street – from Taft Avenue to Muralla Street• Northbound vehicles coming from Roxas Blvd. should turn right at U.N. Avenue or Kalaw Avenue, then turn left at Taft Avenue to reach the point of destination.

· All vehicles coming from Sampaloc area Earnshaw St. intending to pass through Legarda St. should turn left at Manrique St. to reach the point of destination.
