MMA: Honorio Banario feels faster, more explosive in featherweight return

The former ONE featherweight champion struggled as a lightweight, losing 4 of his last 5 bouts in that weight class.“After two years, I dealt with injuries and I felt heavier even if I was in peak condition, so I decided to move back down to a more natural weight,” he said in an article posted on ABS-CBN Sports.

“Here, I am faster, more explosive, and the fans will surely enjoy an exciting match between two hungry veterans looking to make a statement to start the year.”“For me, this is everything,” he said. “All these times, I’ve put in all the work necessary to make sure I make a victorious return to the featherweight division. I’ve doubled my effort in everything during training sessions, and I hope to showcase these improvements .”
