More than 132,000 minimum earners and 64,000 household workers in the Davao Region stand to benefit from the new round of minimum wage increase approved by the Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board (RTWPB). The wage increase will be given in two tranches for minimum wage earners in the private sector, while household helpers will receive a pay hike ranging from P500 to P1,500, depending on the area.

More than 132,000 minimum earners and 64,000 household workers in the Davao Region will benefit from a new round of minimum wage increase. The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board approved an increase of P38 for minimum wage earners in the private sector and a pay hike ranging from P500 to P1,500 for household helpers .

The wage rate for chartered cities and first-class municipalities will be P6,000 and P5,000 for other municipalities.
