Minglanilla town has recorded two new COVID-19 cases -- an 82-year-old man and a 24-year-old man, who are both from Barangay Linao.

CEBU CITY, Philippines — Two new cases of the coronavirus disease have been reported in Minglanilla town this Thursday afternoon, June 11, 2020.In an update on the town’s Facebook page, the municipal government said the patients are an 82-year-old man and a 24-year-old man, who was earlier identified as a close contact of a previously confirmed COVID-19 patient.

According to the LGU, the patient was advised to go home as there was no available room in the hospital. The second patient is a 24-year-old man from a privately-owned compound in Barangay Linao. The patient is asymptomatic.
