Simbang Gabi in Cebu: ‘Why are killings okay?’'If you don’t believe in human rights, you might as well not celebrate Christmas,' Father Ramon Echica tells churchgoers on the 6th day of SimbangGabi. I believe in human rights. I just can't believe a priest would duscourage churchgoers not to attend a mass. Sayang ang donations. Can you please ask this priest as well. If you truly you are a follower of Jesus Christ, of what you have said, would Christ agree with it? True! It actually makes a lot of sense. If you condone the human rights abuses why are you going to church? Christmas celebrates Jesus coming to liberate us from our sins. That whole point is God's message that all of us are sinners and must be given another fair chance.
