The Manila International Airport Authority reminded all Philippine Coast Guard personnel assigned at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport to be conscious of the mandate of other government agencies inside the terminals and don’t go beyond their duties while they are in the airport.

MIAA Media Affairs Division head Jess Martinez said that they received verbal complaints that some PCG personnel are “obviously overtaking the action even if it was already beyond their duties at the NAIA terminals like assisting VIP’s even if this is the job for Public Assistance Officers of MIAA.”
