Once the audit is concluded, the MIAA will be able to determine the equipment needed to make NAIA Terminal 3’s power system reliable and resilient.MIAA will also determine the timeline and the required budget for procuring critical components of its electrical facilities and generator sets, as well as implementing the necessary power systems upgrade at Terminal 3.

The Manila International Airport Authority and the Manila Electric Company started the electrical audit of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 on Friday.

Co said that once the audit is concluded, the MIAA will be able to determine the equipment needed to make NAIA Terminal 3’s power system reliable and resilient. “Yes, kailangan naming bumili or mag lease ng additional generators and we are discussing with stakeholders and that’s the time na madetermine kung magkano ang kailangang budget,” Co said.
