OCTA Research reported the COVID-19 reproduction rate in Metro Manila is down to 0.35 from November 29 to December 5 this year, lower than the 0.92 recorded during the same period last year. | NAMercadoINQ

Reproduction rate indicates how infectious a disease is or the number of people infected by one case.OCTA Research fellow Guido David said that nearly all indicators from November 29 to December, 2021 have gone down when compared to data during the same week-long period last year.

“NCR this past week compared to last year. The testing level is around the same, but nearly all indicators are better now,” David said in a tweet.
