“The Office of the President created a transition committee chaired by Executive Secretary [Salvador] Bingbong Medialdea to prepare and implement the Office of the President’s transition plans,” acting presidential spokesperson Martin Andanar said at a Palace briefing on Wednesday.The Duterte administration will end its six-year term on June 30, after the nation elects its new leaders on May 9.—
