Mayamang tradisyon at kulturang Pinoy ibinahagi sa Lami-Lamihan virtual fiesta

Ibinahagi nila ang kanilang angking galing sa buong mundo sa pagdiriwang ng Lami-Lamihan Virtual Festival noong Hunyo 26, 2021.

“We are grateful that this initiative not only recreates public awareness but on the colorful fiestas that we celebrate putting premium to our very beautiful and rich culture but also give tribute to all our bisitas from around the world. We constantly strive to deliver to them the best brand of our hospitality, the Filipino brand of service,” ayon kay Assistant Secretary Myrna Paz Valderrosa-Abubakar, regional director ng Department of Tourism sa Region 9.

Ipinarinig din nila ang kanilang katutubong musika at sayaw. Ipinaranas sa mga participant sa pamamagitan ng auditory experience ang iba-ibang tunog ng pista ng Lami-Lamihan.Hindi rin mawawala ang masasarap na pagkain. Maging ang mga kalahok ay nakatikim ng mga paboriting snacks ng mga Pinoy tulad ng shing-a-ling, cassava chips, chocolate at peanut brittle mula sa pasalubong kit na ipinadala sa kanila.

“This virtual tour is a significant instrument in bringing our tourism products and services to our bisitas at this time. For now, we are reminded of the richness and dynamism of our tourism industry and virtual tours such as Fiesta Filipinas,” sabi ni Abubakar. Ang Lami-Lamihan virtual festival ang ika-anim at panghuling event ng Fiesta Filipinas series na ipinagdiriwang mula Disyembre 2020 hanggang Hunyo ng taong kasalukuyan.

Pinangunahan ito ng Department of Foreign Affairs, kasama ang DoT at National Commission on Culture and the Arts.
