DAVAO CITY – The city government of Mati in Davao Oriental has denied reports about another coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) case in the city.

– The city government of Mati in Davao Oriental has denied reports about another coronavirus disease 2019 case in the city.

“Our seven suspect cases have been monitored and isolated at our Alternate Care Site in Milagrosa Retreat Center and they are just waiting for the result of their COVID-19 PCR test,” it said. The city government also pointed out that all travelers coming from other areas with known transmissions have been “readily tested” with the rapid diagnostic test .
