The local government of Marikina City presented on Friday, July 22, to officials of the Department of Health the city’s facilities, resources and services for Covid-19 response in line with the upcoming launch of “PinasLakas,” the agency’s new Covid-19 vaccination campaign.
They also went to the Primary Care Center at the Sto. Niño Health Center, which provides routine immunization, TB DOTS, dental services, and nutrition programs. Around 71.01 percent of the general population received their first booster, and 14.14 percent have gotten their second booster jabs. Health protocols are strictly enforced in the city, and disinfection and clean-up drives of public and private spaces in the city are conducted regularly.
