NUEVA VIZCAYA — The office of Col. Dante Abance Lubos, Officer In-Charge of the Nueva Vizcaya Police Provincial Office , identified the suspect as Jayson Binya, 32, and a resident of Purok #3, Sitio Jackpatan, Brgy. Bonifacio, Quezon, Nueva Vizcaya.
Operatives of Quezon Police were conducting an anti-illegal gambling and anti-cockfighting surveillance operation when they learned from an informant that a fully grown marijuana plant was seen at the vegetable garden of a certain Jayson. Immediately, a coordination was made to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region 2 which conducted an operation that led to the arrest of the suspect who was caught in the act of reinforcing the marijuana plant with twigs.Police said the value of the confiscated plant is estimated to be around P2,000.
