THE Private Sector Advisory Council and the Anti-Red Tape Authority on Wednesday called on President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. to issue an executive order prescribing the continuance of guidelines to improve internet connectivity in the country.This, after Marcos, during the Telco Summit 2022, urged relevant government agencies and the private sector to help improve connectivity in the country to make it competitive in this digital age.
'The Anti-Red Tape Authority and the Private Sector Advisory Council , in their drive to adhere to the priority of His Excellency President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. of improving internet connectivity in the whole country, call for the issuance of an Executive Order to institutionalize the effect of ARTA Telecommunications Sector initiatives that took effect through Joint Memorandum Circulars ,' their joint statement read.
