President Ferdinand ''Bongbong'' Marcos Jr. said Friday that the Trabaho Para sa Bayan plan would help generate at least three million new jobs for Filipinos by 2028.Marcos said this as he graced the 2024 National Employment Summit at the Manila Hotel. The TPB is a 10-year roadmap, which will serve as the national guide towards greater employment generation and recovery.
Marcos said the employment summit is the perfect time for key players to come together to harness the spirit of Bayanihan as the country meets the emerging needs in the local, national, regional, and international labor markets.“We have exciting times that lie ahead. We look forward to the new jobs, the new sectors, the new opportunities that are waiting for us and for the Philippines,” Marcos said.
