PRESIDENT Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ordered on Sunday, October 8, 2023, all concerned government agencies to ensure the safety and welfare of Overseas Filipino Workers in Israel amid ongoing conflict due to attacks staged by the Palestinian Islamist group Hamas.
Marcos condemned the attacks and expressed condolences to those who lost their loved ones in the attacks.“The Philippines conveys its deepest sympathies and condolences to those who have lost family members and loved ones in recent attacks. The Philippines condemns the attacks, especially against civilian populations,” said Marcos.
