Working abroad will hopefully become “a choice rather than a necessity” for Filipinos in the future, according to President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., as he promised more job opportunities in the Philippines. | NCorralesINQ /PDI

The cash award was part of the total P2.5 million in prizes handed out to lucky attendees by Go Negosyo and its partners to mark its anniversary.

“Over the 17 years that we promoted entrepreneurship in the Philippines, we found that many of the MSMEs we helped grow were the ventures of OFWs who dream of a life of financial security for their families back home,” he said. Marcos said the administration was working to make entrepreneurship an avenue where the government could help OFWs and their families generate additional income to support their needs.

In March this year, the Philippine Statistics Authority reported that there were an estimated 1.77 million OFWs as of September 2020.

NCorralesINQ Marcos' goal: to ge tmy hand son whatever you earn or inherit.

NCorralesINQ OFWs started in 70s during Marcos regime. Filipinos choose to work in Middle East due to high unemployment, nepotism in govt jobs, lack of investment and discrimination due to age & background. Now, real jobs are replaced by Ghost Employees para lng makapagnakaw ang mga pulitiko.

NCorralesINQ Yung nanggaya pero di plakado. Only fake harvard grad can do it.

NCorralesINQ Talaga ba?

NCorralesINQ Hahahahaha. Where's the Php20 rice? Prices of Onions, sugar, gas, even softdrinks all inflated. Instead of subsidizing all these commodities nasa confidential funds ang pera and now you want our money to fund your Maharlika BS.

NCorralesINQ Akala ko ba kakausapin niya na employers to hire Filipinos again. Siya ang Lutang na tunay.

NCorralesINQ Marcos doing a Leni... 🙄

NCorralesINQ Parang ganito lang yan… 🙃 (Video Source: BBM Unite Filipno People)

NCorralesINQ Hey, bongbongmarcos! Blah blah blah blah. 🫤

NCorralesINQ ah ok...

NCorralesINQ Si Leni nagsabi nyan

NCorralesINQ Magpromised ka muna di ka tatamad tamad!

NCorralesINQ ups parang linya ni Mam Leni yan ah, galing mo Dayunyor...

NCorralesINQ The government will need to approach the issue hollistically. What will it take for our working countryment to be paid a competent salary, and for current businesses to find it feasible to do so?

NCorralesINQ KABALBALAN!!!

NCorralesINQ Walk the talk?

NCorralesINQ Conflicting policy: job generation & labor export

NCorralesINQ hahaha. wrong choice of words. yes there might be jobs, but the question is, is the salary package good enough. i started working around 1995 and starting salary was at 11k now its 14k. price of gas was only P11.20/liter now it P70.10. do the math, & see why people want 2 leave.

NCorralesINQ Hmmm… sounds familiar

NCorralesINQ Export quality OFW

NCorralesINQ Tama na sa pangako. Promises ay para sa kampanya. Nanalo na sya. Its about time that he starts working to make those promises a reality. Ah, oo nga pala, wala syang pinangako nung kampanya. Puro unity at ₱20 per kilong bigas

Sinabi mo pa sa Singapore na mas madali na sila maghire ng Pinay helpers and you begged Sg to hire more from Philippines 🙄

NCorralesINQ Puro salita ang ungas!

NCorralesINQ 🤣🤣🤣 I hope he is not in cloud 9

NCorralesINQ Empty promises na walang katotohanan. Ang totoo, Marcos Sr and his cronies messed up the economy so bad that Filipinos had no choice but to work abroad. Ganyang ka-salot yang mga Marcos.

NCorralesINQ Narinig ko na yan ah. Haay.

NCorralesINQ Plagiarism? Nasabi na ni Leni yan. As usual 🙄

NCorralesINQ kapal ng mukha nito, sinungaling talaga

NCorralesINQ SMH..puro salita..wala naman kaming nakikita..

NCorralesINQ It will be a necessity for another 5 years. 👆😉👈

NCorralesINQ Ya 200yrs from now

NCorralesINQ Uy, ninakaw kay Leni.

NCorralesINQ And we hope these promises, just as previously made by many past presidents, translate to action.
