Manila Water continues to expand its customer base, with 8,247 new domestic and non-domestic water connections recorded for the 1st quarter of 2023, which is already 40% of its new water service connection target for the whole of 2023.

Manila Water has also recorded an increase in its sewer accounts, with 2,816 new sewer connections recorded from January to March 2023, 2,558 of which are combined system accounts and 258 separate system accounts.

“The continuous increase of our customer base means we’ve been successful in reaching out to more communities in need of quality water supply. This also comes with the responsibility of working harder and striving to further improve our services and ensure consistent 24/7 services, which is what we are committed to do since the establishment of Manila Water 25 years ago,” said Jeric Sevilla, Manila Water Corporate Communication Affairs Group Director.
