The City of Manila's Department of Engineering and Public Works (DEPW) started the installation of new streetlights and rehabilitation of sidewalks and drainage in the city on Wednesday, March 15.

DEPW's Public Utilities and Miscellaneous Services also deployed line workers to remove dangling wires from the electricity posts on Concepcion Street in Brgy. 11, Tondo, to provide safe roads for passersby and motorists.

The trees that were blocking portions of the roads along Lacson from Laon Laan to Aragon St., Sampaloc were trimmed by DEPW's Electrical Division. DEPW's Public Building and Installation Division also installed tarpaulins for the celebration of Women's Month in the vicinity of Manila City Hall in Ermita.
