The Manila Police District Traffic Enforcement Unit (MPD-TEU) announced yesterday the road closures and rerouting of vehicular traffic in Sampaloc, Quiapo, and Sta. Cruz in connection with the Black Nazarene Thanksgiving Procession on Monday, Dec. 30.

The Manila Police District Traffic Enforcement Unit announced Sunday the road closures and rerouting of vehicular traffic in Sampaloc, Quiapo, and Sta. Cruz in connection with the Black Nazarene Thanksgiving Procession on Monday, Dec. 30.

MPD-TEU said the eastbound lane of C.M. Recto from Rizal Avenue to SH Loyola Street, southbound lane of Quezon Boulevard , from A. Mendoza to Fugoso to Plaza Miranda and Espana/P.Campa/Lerma will be closed to traffic for all types of vehicles at around 8:30 p.m. on Dec. 30. All motorists intending to utilize Quezon Boulevard coming from A. Mendoza Street should turn right to Fugoso, left to Rizal Avenue to point of destination.

In a traffic advisory on Sunday, the MPD said the route of the procession will start from Plaza Miranda, left Quezon Boulevard, right C.M. Recto Avenue, right Loyola Street, right Bilibid Viejo Street, left Gil Puyat Street, left Z.P de Guzman Street , right R. Hidalgo St., left Quezon Boulevard through under Quezon Bridge through Palanca Street, right Villalobos Street to Plaza Miranda.
