Legacy carrier Philippine Airlines will commence flying between Manila and Perth in March, providing a direct link between the Philippines and Western Australia for the first time.
“We are delighted to say, ‘Mabuhay, Perth!’ as we expand our network to Western Australia,” said Philippine Airlines President and COO Captain Stanley K. Ng. For his part, Perth Airport CEO Kevin Brown said the new service is a “win” for Western Australia’s business, tourism, and exports. Meanwhile, Philippine Ambassador to Australia Ma. Hellen B. De La Vega said the new service can open up more opportunities for both countries.
