Man busted in Bacolod cemetery, P408,000 shabu seized

BACOLOD CITY –

A man was arrested in a buy-bust operation inside a private cemetery in Barangay Bata, Bacolod City, with the confiscation of P408,000 worth of suspected shabu Saturday. Police Capt. John Christopher Masangkay, head of Police Station 5, said that Pranisa is considered a high value individual, following the confiscation of more than 50 grams of illegal drugs.

As to the source of the illegal drugs, Pranisa’s source is from a contact inside the New Bilibid Prison in Muntinlupa City, and was reportedly being sent to him through a courier service. Masangkay said they are checking the background of Pranisa if he has a criminal record. He is detained at Police Station 5.

The operation was also in coordination with the City Drug Enforcement Unit of the Bacolod City Police Office .
