A man was arrested by the police after he was found in possession of a hand grenade in Taguig on Jan. 7.

Taguig police identified the suspect as Robin Valencia, 42, who was nabbed on Cucumber Road in FTI Compound, Barangay Western Bicutan, Taguig at about 1:45 a.m.His arrest stemmed from a call from a barangay intelligence network agent who told the police that Valencia was armed with a hand grenade.

Intelligence operatives of the Taguig police were dispatched to the area and saw the suspect with a hand grenade. He was arrested after he failed to show any documents for the explosive.
