Meanwhile, the number of active COVID-19 cases in Quezon province dropped to 14 on Wednesday after listing 65 on Jan. 1, the latest IPHO data showed.
The data showed that 30 of the 41 municipalities in the province no longer have any recorded COVID-19 cases. Those previously infected in the localities have either recovered or died. But out of the 30 towns, at least nine have only one active case each. Mauban topped the list with three active infections, followed by Tiaong with two.The province logged 209 COVID-19 cases last month, 219 in November, and 398 in October, the IPHO data showed.
